Growing together: Advisory prepares new generation of advisors

Mexico City, December 1, 2022.- With the objective of providing our students in the Universidad Panamericana In order to provide our students with a complete integral attention, SMART Center's Advisory area opened the Basic Online Training (CBO) to more generations.

CBO is a program aimed at university advisors, which aims to reinforce the bases that Universidad Panamericana expects from advisors, in order to make this accompaniment an experience in favor of students in the different spheres that make up their lives.

More trained consultants

This training is carried out jointly with the three campuses that make up the Panamericana: Mexico City, Guadalajara and Aguascalientes . With this new generation, there are now more than 130 advisors, both new and experienced, who have successfully completed the task of reinforcing concepts, learning and preparing themselves in university advising during the last two and a half years at the Mexico campus.

The above under the premise of reinforcing concepts and establishing the principles of university counseling to accompany students throughout their school career, which ranges from the process of adaptation and professional training, to the generation of a life plan that balances the personal and professional part of the student.

A fundamental axis

The training emphasizes the role of empathy, which serves as a fundamental axis to offer the best service, which takes into account the difficulties we have faced in recent years: uncertainty, the hybrid return and the return to face-to-face work, with their respective challenges. Advisors must let young people know that they are on their side in any circumstance.

Advisory de campus Mexico seeks to continue providing training efforts to educate all the actors involved in counseling and thus be a support for our students at Universidad Panamericana.
