Francisco Márquez: 35 years of dedication and service

ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; November 08, 2022.- Francisco Márquez Saucedo is the Security Supervisor of the Guadalajara campus. Universidad Panamericana campus Guadalajara, and has been working at the institution for 35 years.

Throughout his career, Panamericana has helped him grow, as he states that "I entered here when I was 20-21 years old and during that time I was a security guard, then the University gave me the opportunity to study here in junior high and high school".

In his day-to-day work, Francisco faces different challenges, among them "The school patrol", which makes up the roads around the university. If an accident happens outside, he has to go out, set up cones and make a road so that traffic is not obstructed.

What he is most passionate about in his job is "looking every day at how to improve the income of all students and with the security of the university".

Francisco thanks Panamericana for the "personalized treatment they have always taught us to give people. As soon as they arrive at the University, they are told where the career is, the information area, and if I can accompany them, I'm happy to do so".

The importance of the family

Regarding his family, Francisco Márquez is a man who prioritizes the welfare and well-being of his loved ones, as he has four children, three of whom studied at Universidad Panamericana. The eldest of them studied Administration and Human Resources, while the second and third studied Pedagogy.

One piece of advice the Panamericana security supervisor gives to the university community is "When you come to the university, don't come with cell phones in your hand, because that causes accidents inside and outside the facilities".
