Campus Guadalajara promotes Social Work and Social Service projects to build a better world.

ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; August 14, 2023.- Seeking to form graduates committed to society, the department of Social Commitment of the Universidad Panamericana, campus Guadalajarahas established strategic alliances with various entities, including civil associations, governmental entities and private organizations. These collaborations allow Panamericana students to contribute to the construction of a more just and equitable world through Social Work and Social Service projects.

Last Tuesday, August 8, the long-awaited Annual Meeting of Institutions was held in the facilities of the Universidad Panamericana in Guadalajara. A total of 55 people representing 28 institutions with which collaboration agreements have been established, met to discuss and strengthen the bonds of social commitment.

The day began with a presentation on the Social Work Organization and the dissemination of announcements relevant to the community involved. community involved in these in these projects. One of the highlights was the upcoming Institutions Fair scheduled for August 2023. Dr. Rocio Ruiz, Director of University Life, gave a warm welcome to all the institutions present and shared the university's vision of training students as agents of transformation in the world. Dr. Ruiz deeply thanked the institutions for their contribution in the formation of the students, highlighting their work in the educational and social process.

The event also marked the incorporation of new institutions as of August 2023, who will join this laudable effort to forge a more solidary and committed future.

Inspirational lecture

One of the most enriching moments of the meeting was the conference entitled "Formulation of High Impact Projects from Social Responsibility and Impact Measurement", presented by Ms. Elizabeth Gonzalez De La Torre. This conference provided the attending institutions with a clearer focus on how to instill in students the development of projects with a true sense of Social Responsibility. Each project, guided by a defined purpose, seeks to generate positive impacts on its beneficiaries.
