Ismael Guzmán is a former player of Club Necaxa and in 2018 he received a scholarship to join the Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara.
ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; March 06, 2023.- Ismael Guzmán Guerrero, Alumni of the Administration and Finance career, and ex-selected member of the soccer team of the Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara, received the "Che Correa" scholarship, which will help him to cover part of his degree expenses.
Che Correa Scholarship
The "Che Correa" scholarship is given thanks to the generosity of a group of alumni former members of the Universidad Panamericana soccer team, who, like the current selected players, were able to train personally and professionally in this university.
The Alumni donors seek to give back to Panamericana a little of what they received during their years as students. Therefore, last year they helped four students with this scholarship, and in this second edition, Ismael was the beneficiary.

Ismael Guzmán' s story goes back to 2018, when after playing soccer in Second Division of Liga MX with Necaxa, the opportunity arose to enter to study a career and he chose Panamericana Campus Guadalajara as his destination. "When I met UP, the truth is that I completely fell in love with the opportunity."
Since she enrolled, her life has taken a "total turn", as she is now a "much more humane person, who thinks more about her peers. Having a career gives you a different perspective on life, the desire to fight for what you have, to have a better quality of life and to get ahead.
On the other hand, his biggest challenge being a student and selected for the soccer team was time. "Itmay sound simple because it is something you like, but there were times when the time, fatigue and wear and tear overtook you". Another challenge for the Finance Alumni was the academic part, since he had to perform as a person, an athlete and also with grades.
For Ismael Guzmán, his family represents a fundamental pillar in his life, because since he was a child, they made an effort for him to be a good person focused on sports. "I have always said that my family is my greatest motivation. My parents, my brother, my cousins, my grandmother and my girlfriend were part of this and I think that without them, this would have been impossible."
The "Che Correa" scholarship symbolizes a "huge satisfaction" in Ismael Guzman's life. "The truth is that I believe I am blessed to have this opportunity. Itis the fruit of the effort and sacrifice that one makes."
The Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara is proud of the Alumni of the Administration and Finance career, Ismael Guzmán Guerrero, for having obtained the "Che Correa" scholarship that will help him with his degree expenses.
