The experience, according to Moises, was "very cool," even though it was not without its drawbacks. "The tournament presented a lot of difficulties, as it was raining and there was a hurricane there in Acapulco.. But thank God the results came out and I managed to win my last national tournament as a university student," he said.

Meaning of the triumph

This achievement has a special meaningin the Panamericana student's sports career, because it symbolizes the result of years of effort and perseverance. "It represents a lot, because during the whole University I worked hard to achieve it and I could never close the tournament. And now that it was the last opportunity, winning the first place was something very cool and very nice for my university career," said the champion.

When asked about the key to his triumph in Acapulco, Moises attributed his success to patience and determination. "The key more than anything was patience, as the playing conditions were quite difficult. That's why, with a lot of patience I managed to hold my own.I had a very good first round and that extended my lead over my rivals and I managed to keep it," he explained.

An advice to his "past self

In retrospect, what the current Business and Finance student would say to his self of eight years ago when he was just getting started in the world of Golf would be that "Nothing is impossible.Nothing is impossible. Working and practicing, everything can be achieved and it is not so far away, you just have to look for it.".

Finally, Moises highlighted the support he has received from Panamericana in his sports career. "Without the support of the UP we would not have been where we were. We are currently second place nationally as a team and practically the University has supported us in everything and motivates us to continue winning," he concluded.

The Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara congratulates golfer Moises Gonzalez, a ninth semester student of the Administration and Finance career for his great sporting feat and wishes him all the success in his future competitions, as well as in his professional career.
