Mexico City, October 17, 2025.— In an increasingly interconnected world, where the job market demands global skills, the Universidad Panamericana taken a decisive step by expanding its offerings to include seven bachelor’s degree programs taught entirely in English.
This strategic initiative, which encompasses the schools of Engineering, Business, and Communication, is a cornerstone of the university’s educational mission to train leaders with an international outlook.

Dr. Lorena Berumen, director of Industrial Engineering and Data-Driven Innovation, explains that this academic program “aims to train leaders with a global reach, capable of functioning in multicultural environments and providing innovative solutions in international settings.These programs serve as a bridge between Mexico and the world, aligning UP with world-class universities.”

For her part, Gabriela Esteban Gómez, M.A., dean of the School of Economics and Business at , emphasizes that this is a comprehensive vision: “The university positions itself as a competitive institution in the higher education landscape, both nationally and internationally. The strategy aims to ensure that its graduates not only master a language but also become global citizens with an intercultural mindset.”

Meanwhile, Gabriela Ambás, M.A., director of the Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, adds: “The main goal is to prepare our students so that, upon graduation, they become leaders with global impact with the skills needed to innovate and excel in any international setting.”

For the Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Ms. Ambás lists key competencies such as “leadership, analytical skills grounded in the global context, the ability to understand and construct international narratives, the ability to connect with multicultural audiences, social responsibility toward global issues, negotiation, and conflict resolution.”
