Universidad Panamericana Liverpool sign agreement to strengthen legal education

Mexico City, September 25, 2025. Ina significant step toward bringing academic training closer to the challenges of the business sector, the Universidad Panamericana El Puerto de Liverpool signed a collaboration agreement that will directly benefit students at the Faculty of Law of this institution.

The agreement was signed byDr. Santiago García Álvarez, rector of Campus Mexico City;Salvador Beltrán del Rio, director of Institutional Development at ;Dr. Fernando Batista Jiménez, dean of the Faculty of Law; and Enrique Guijosa, CEO of Puerto de Liverpool.

In accordance with the agreement, students at the Faculty of Law will have access to three main benefits:

  1. Access to professional internships:students will have the opportunity to intern with the legal team at El Puerto de Liverpool, where they will work on real cases and gain firsthand knowledge of the legal operations of one of Mexico's most important corporations.
  1. Specialized mentoring programs:professionals with extensive experience in the company will serve as mentors, guiding students' professional development and offering them a unique perspective on corporate law.
  1. Outreach projects and job bank:the alliance will facilitate joint calls for research or consulting projects, as well as the creation of a direct communication channel with Liverpool's human resources department, generating exclusive job opportunities for graduates.

Collaboration with a practical and direct approach

This alliance stands out from other agreements due to its practical and direct approach, allowing students to gain experience, develop skills, and build an invaluable network of contacts from the early stages of their training, positioning them in a privileged position in the competitive job market.

As an immediate result of this signing, the first tangible activity for the student community will be thelaunch of a call for professional internshipsin the coming weeks, disseminated through the University's official channels. 

At the same time, there will be alecture given by the legal director of El Puerto de Liverpool, who will share with students details of the activities carried out within the company's legal department.
