Aguascalientes, Ags., June 9, 2026.— Civil engineering students from the Aguascalientes campus of the National Institute of Technology and Higher Education ( Universidad Panamericana )—one of the most important academic events for future civil engineers in Mexico—earned five national podium finishes in competitions that assess technical knowledge, practical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
The event, held in Monterrey, Nuevo León, brought together civil engineering students from universities across the country, who participated in academic, technical, and professional application tests.
Results that reflect academic and technical excellence
The team from the National Institute of Technology ( Universidad Panamericana ) won three first-place national titles in the Business Simulation, Concrete Frisbee, and Academic Physics Exam categories—competitions that assess scientific knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the practical application of fundamental engineering concepts.
In addition, they earned two second-place finishes at the national level in the Wall Lift and Technical Test events, which assess specialized skills, technical precision, and criteria specific to professional practice.
These results reinforce the Universidad Panamericana ’s reputation as an institution committed to training highly qualified engineers who are capable of excelling in academic and professional settings nationwide.
