Aguascalientes, Ags.- March 2023.- On May 20, more than 180 students, professors and alumni of our Universidad Panamericana campus Aguascalientes will present the concert "NO CULPES A LA NOCHE" where different songs by Luis Miguel will be performed.
Don't blame the night
Since September 2022, the artistic groups of dance, singing, choir, musical ensembles, scenographic space design, event organization, photography and audiovisual production have been working on this ambitious project, delving into everything involved in the assembly of a concert with great technical, human and professional quality.
As part of the preparation and development of our students and teachers, we have the support of luxury guests, who have guided them in the editing process by giving master classes and attending some rehearsals.
Concert guests
These guests are: Analy Gerardo, professional singer, winner of the national and international OTI Festival in 1990, official voice of Mulan and Jasmine of Disney Latino; Salo Loyo, musician, Luis Miguel's keyboardist for over 20 years; Victor Loyo, musician, drummer for Luis Miguel; and Mariachi Imperial Azteca, 2017 Grammy Award nominee.
"Having the presence of these guests helps us to continue growing and to bring out the best in us, to learn the discipline of an assembly and to live the excitement of teamwork, sharing this experience with talented people from our campus in different artistic areas," says one of our students of musical ensembles.
Our singers have had the opportunity to work and share experiences with Analy Gerardo, vocal coach of several generations of La Academia de TV Azteca, music producer and teacher.
"To foster this union between young people-adults, students-teachers is something that very few institutions have. Thank you for making me part of this project," said Ms. Analy after the session she had with some of the participants of the event.
Salo Loyo, in his master class, shared with our ensemble students the experience of working with Luis Miguel for more than 20 years and is currently supporting the musical direction of the concert, along with his brother Victor.
At the end of the session, Salo commented to the attendees: "The talent I see and the attentions I have received have filled my soul. I am very excited about what lies ahead."
For the regional Mexican songs, we will have the presence of Mariachi Imperial Azteca who will share the stage with some of our student singers, dancers and musicians.
Undoubtedly, this will be a great artistic experience for all participants and spectators. The event will take place on Saturday, May 20 at 7:30 p.m. at our Aguascalientes campus and we look forward to seeing you there!
