In the Fall Winter 23 - 24 edition of Paris Fashion Week 2023, Beltrán had a successful debut with her own brand, being the only Mexican to present her designs. Her collection, called "Legado", achieved its goal by conquering the Parisian public.
The fashion show took place in "La Galerie Bourbon", one of the most recognized galleries of the fashion city. It is located a few steps from the famous Arc de Triomphe and the iconic Champs Elysees avenue.
"The experience was very enriching, I had the opportunity to meet designers from all over the world, I really enjoyed taking my brand to an international level and having recognition in a big way, it makes me very happy to take my designs from Guadalajara to the world."
Karen Beltrán's Challenges
The main challenge Karen faced was the organization. Moving her entire team from Guadalajara to Paris was a big challenge, especially because it was the first time she participated in an event of such magnitude.
Studying Marketing at Panamericana was very helpful for Karen, from presenting herself in an international catwalk, generating strategies, promotion in social networks, were ideas that were developed during her stay at Panamericana.
"The UP for me was very supportive, since I started my business in the first semester, all the projects I did throughout my career were based on my business, so all that advice helped me."
Likewise, Beltrán shares her advice with the entire university community: do not set limits of any kind, since as a marketer she knows the wide field of work that exists in this profession.
"I highly recommend that you don't close yourselves off, there are opportunities for marketers in everything, you can grow hand in hand with marketing in whatever your dreams are."
