Aguascalientes, Ags. December 4, 2023.- Last Thursday, October 12 we lived the DISCO edition of our incredible annual event around the Day of the Dead CALAVERAS UP where about 100 students of the university were involved among musicians, singers, dancers, photography, scenography and event management.
More than 900 spectators enjoyed the live disco concert at the university's facilities by our students of the pop rock ensemble, wind ensemble, string ensemble, singing and interpretation workshop and dance.
The concert was directed by the students of the event management workshop together with the management and singing teacher Alejandra Ondarza.
A contest to decorate 20 skulls was held between Aguascalientes high schools and the students of Innovation and Design Engineering, where 73 contestants participated with the theme "painters" and three first places and four honorable mentions were awarded.
The exhibition of skulls was set up as an altar of the dead by the students of the scenography workshop during the event and later exhibited at the Aguascalientes Museum.

Also on display was the exhibition Neon Skulls by the students of photography with free technique as part of their development in the workshop from August to November.
At the same time, students of the Food Business Management course in their third and fifth semesters made pan de muerto as part of their academic training, which were sold during the event.
