The Choir of the Universidad Panamericana campus Guadalajara offers a free concert of sacred music at the Expiatorio, its participation inaugurates the season of "Concerts in Churches" of the XXVI Jalisco May Cultural Festival.
ZAPOPAN, Jalisco, May 15, 2023.- Living to serve: As part of the twenty-sixth May Cultural Festival, the UP Choir and the Alumni Choir representative group performed during the "Concerts in Churches" program.

The Panamericana Choir performed a repertoire of thirteen songs, under the direction of Eng. Adolfo Rojas, director of the representative group of the Department of Arts and Culture, beginning with the university hymn Gaudeamus Igitur, followed by other interpretations such as Lacrimosa by Mozart and ending with Nabucco written by Giuseppe Verdi.
The highlight of the evening came with "the last song", which resulted from the union of 64 voices that made up both choirs, in what was their first joint performance.
It is worth mentioning that this is the ninth consecutive year in which the Universidad Panamericana joins the activities of the Cultural Festival.
