The choir of the Guadalajara campus of the “ Universidad Panamericana ” is offering a free concert of sacred music at the Expiatorio; their performance kicks off the “Concerts in Churches” season of the 26th Jalisco May Cultural Festival.
ZAPOPAN, Jalisco, May 15, 2023.—Living to Serve: As part of the 26th May Cultural Festival, the UP Choir and the Coro Alumni representative group performed during the “Concerts in Churches” program .

The Panamericana Choir performed a repertoire of thirteen songs under the direction of Adolfo Rojas, director of the group representing the Department of Art and Culture; the program began with the university anthem “Gaudeamus Igitur,” followed by other pieces such as Mozart’s “Lacrimosa,” and concluded with Giuseppe Verdi’s “Nabucco.”

The highlight of the evening came with “the final song,” which brought together the 64 voices of both choirs in what was their first joint performance.
It should be noted that this is the ninth consecutive year in which the Universidad Panamericana is participating in the Cultural Festival’s activities .
