ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; December 14, 2023.- The Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara presented the show called "Christmas UP: the best gift", in an event that brought together more than 2 thousand people from the university community, and included acting, music, dance and video mapping.
"Christmas UP: the best gift" is an original show that tells the story of a family, whose main character is a grandmother who wants to enjoy with her children and grandchildren the traditions of Christmas while transmitting the true meaning of Christmas, demonstrating that the best gift cannot be bought with money, because it is found within each one of us.
Reflections on the Christmas spirit
The narrative focused on a grandmother's desire to share Christmas traditions with her children and grandchildren, thus conveying the true meaning of Christmas: the importance of inner values over material possessions.
Through touching dialogues and musical numbers, the audience was guided by the grandmother to reflect on the Christmas spirit, remembering, giving thanks, loving and forgiving.
Art and Culture in action
The Art and Culture Department was responsible for organizing the event with a team of more than 100 artists, including voices from Alumni and dancers from the Torreblanca School Center, and nearly 200 scholarship holders and volunteers who, together with professionals, began planning the event a year ago.
The highlight of the evening was when the audience became part of the show, ringing hundreds of bells as snowflakes fell, providing a memorable and participatory experience.
The Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara thanks the Art and Culture department for making this event possible, from the organizers to the spectators, for contributing to the creation of such a special evening for the university community.
