The Art and Culture Department at the Guadalajara Campus of the Universidad Panamericana is hosting the 8th edition of Fest UP 2023: "Living Art!"
ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; March 30, 2023.— Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus, through its UP Art and Culture Department, celebrated the eighth edition of Fest UP 2023 with a variety of cultural and artistic events that took place from March 27 to 29 at the Poliforum Panamericano.

The eighth edition featured ninety artists and a staff of more than one hundred eighty students and faculty members from the Department of Art and Culture. To promote the festival, the artists and staff worked together and organized more than eighteen promotional events in the weeks leading up to the event.
The program featured seven performances, each of which was sold out. With an enthusiastic audience that arrived early to secure the best seats, Fest UP 2023 drew more than 3,000 attendees and reached 240,000 users on social media.
Theater Performances
The program featured the play “Esta obra es un desastre, ” the exhibitions “Ferdossi” and “Arte a dos Caras, ” the talent show “UP Talent,” a dance performance titled “Indiferentes,” and, as the main event, the concert “The New Old Kids 2.0”—the first event to sell out, which drew nearly 900 attendees on the festival’s opening night.
To encourage the university community to participate, the festival was free of charge; attendance required only an invitation and prior registration via an online platform.
Fest UP 2023 was a unique experience for both those involved in the production and the audience. Excellence should not be limited to academic pursuits; we must appreciate beauty, a very important source of pleasure and well-being for human beings.
The Art and Culture Department is already working on the next edition of Fest UP 2023 and continues to offer other cultural activities to enrich the college experience for students at the Guadalajara Campus of the Universidad Panamericana .
