An outstanding participation in the largest private university sporting event in the world
The competition of the National Student Sports Commission of Private Institutions (CONADEIP) is distinguished for being the most relevant sports competition at the national level among private higher education institutions. Each year, it brings together the best private universities in the country, whose teams compete in a high-performance environment.
Participation in this event requires intense technical and physical preparation. The teams dedicate many hours of rehearsal per week, combining their training with the academic demands of university life.
This year, the Universidad Panamericana campus Aguascalientes competed in the disciplines of hip hop, poms y jazzafter having represented the university in international competitions such as the World School Championship in Orlando and artistic events such as the concert Feeling alive.
The event took place at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Monterrey campus, from April 10 to 13, 2025.
First place nationally in hip hop
For the first time, the Universidad Panamericana campus Aguascalientes hip hop team was crowned national champion, marking a milestone in the university's history.marking a milestone in its university history. Each member of the group demonstrated admirable discipline and dedication, facing the challenge of balancing their academic responsibilities with the demands of perfecting each choreography.
Gary Ochoa noted how proud he was to have led the dance team. "This triumph means a great success for the entire team since, since January 2024, we have been working on this choreography making different adjustments, working very hard physically and many hours of daily rehearsal. It is a great reward and satisfaction to have obtained this national championship.".
Team members Paola Valdéz, Edna Návar, Katia Fragozo, Andrea Cobourne, Ana Sofía Bermudez, María Dolores Figueroa, Regina Gómez, Julieta Yánez, Roxanna Nájera, Fátima Ruíz and Diego Hermosillo demonstrated a high technical and artistic level.
"This event marked something huge in me and in the history we made by winning that first place.
