The competition was held at the ESPN complex within the Walt Disney World Resort where nearly 10,000 cheerleaders gathered to compete on a national and international level.

This is not the first time that our dance team participates in this international championship: in February 2020 they won second place in the Poms category.

Due to the excellent results obtained in different competitions held by the National Cheerleading Organization in 2021 and 2022, this team was again invited to participate in Orlando.

This dance team is trained by coach Pedro Arredondo and integrated by students Adriana Machuca, Ana Elisa Anaya, Ashley Quezada, Goretti Vela, Hannia Cornejo, María Fernanda Ortega, Melanie Landell, Rebeca Peña, Sara Ruiz, Sofia Aguilar and Vercia Lozano and promoted for six years by the Department of Arts and Culture of our Bonaterra Campus.

"At the beginning of this journey, it led me to practice faith and patience, to understand that God is bigger than everything and places us exactly where, when and with whom we should be. Not only that, but it also led me to surrender. To give my team that last effort, that last word of encouragement, that last repetition and that last smile. And that's the best gift we could give to ourselves and to God." -Ashley Quezada/ dancer

"For me, this trip was a new adventure that taught me to value what I have, the opportunities I am given and the people God puts in my path." - Rebeca Peña/dancer

This competition is not the end, soon our students will face CONADEIP against the best private schools in our country, which is a new challenge.
