ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; September 30, 2022.- With the theme "Free your Mind", the fourth edition of TEDx Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara was held at the Poliforum Panamericano in a hybrid manner, both in person and online.
TED is an annual event where some of the world's leading figures are invited to share what they are most passionate about. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design - 3 representative areas, which generate change in the world - but since its origin it has expanded to include important ideas that span any discipline.
In the spirit of sharing "ideas worth spreading", TED created the TEDx program where a license is granted to recreate a TED experience. It is a local, independently organized event, however all events share the same TED style and goal.
What makes the Pan American talks special is that they seek to encourage aspiration so that everyone dares to share their stories and that we all have something to tell.
And so it was this fourth edition, in which the 16 speakers shared with us their talks related to the theme "Free your Mind".
Roberto Morales, better known as Robe Grill, stated the following in his talk "The Empty Stadium Chair": "We live in a world where there seems to be no room for you. Differentiating yourself is key to finding what you want to do with your life. You will achieve this differentiation if you are brave and dare to challenge your ideas and learn from your mistakes".
Rorro Échavez, motivational influencer and speaker of "Papás, tenemos que hablar", shared that "If you heal your relationship with your parents, I am sure that it will make you a better person. And if we are better people, together we will have a better society".
For his part, Julio Reza, professor at Panamericana and speaker of the "MOMENTUM" talk, commented that "Life can change through the power of small decisions, if we transform them into MOMENTUMS".
