4th Generation of the University Identity Program

Zapopan, Jalisco; February 07, 2023.- The Universidad Panamericana campus Guadalajara held the fourth edition of the University Identity Program (PIU) from January 09 to 20, 2023, which seeks to transmit to all those who work on campus, the importance of the university in the professional and intellectual training of its employees and students, as well as the dissemination of the heritage of the UP, reflected in a well-defined identity.

The program has different focuses, according to the work that is carried out within the institution: teachers and researchers, coordinators and university life, administrative and general services. The program focuses on communicating the cultural resources to exercise the university profession of Panamericana, from the knowledge of the identity of this institution.

The PIU is part of the career plan for university collaborators, which is complemented by the Specialization in Anthropology and Ethics for those who have been with the institution for two and three years, and by the Specialization in Didactic Competencies and Certification in University Counseling for those in their third and fourth year at the institution, depending on the role and performance of each professor or counselor.

This year we had a total of 47 students divided into two groups, Coordinators and Administrators, as well as Dr. David Girado Sierra, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Human Sciences of the Universidad de La Sabana, in Bogotá, Colombia, as the main speaker; and the interventions of Sandra Hernández González, Dr. Elizabeth Martínez, Corina Pallota, Dr. Susana Ochoa de Rojas, Dr . Francisco Alejandro Orozco Argote and Roberto Rojas Tapia.

The Universidad Panamericana is proud of the existence of this program, which promotes the values and philosophy that the institution has had since its origins with the objective of providing academic excellence.
