ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; June 3, 2024.- The Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara was honored to receive six distinguished members of the international company Amazon, marking a milestone in the collaboration between both institutions. This strategic meeting, in the form of a breakfast, was attended by key personalities from Amazon, who occupy crucial positions for the alliance.
The UP was represented by the Deputy Director of Alumni, Mariana Belén; Dr. José Francisco López Torres, Dean of the School of Business; the Director of the Industrial Engineering program, Maria Alejandra Ceballos; and Ana Fabiola Mora López, Director of the Pedagogy and Psychopedagogy programs.
The event focused on discussing how Amazon conducts its hiring processes, highlighting the skills and knowledge our students must possess to be successful candidates. It was announced that future hires for Amazon' s new site will prioritize Panamericana graduates, reaffirming Amazon's commitment to our institution's emerging talent.
In addition, it was agreed that Amazon will collaborate in the implementation of the case method for the students, providing direct feedback from the company's experts, thus enriching the educational experience of our students.
The day concluded with an information session aimed at graduating students, where current employment opportunities at Amazon were presented, allowing them to apply directly to available vacancies.
