About the agreement

Due to the relationship that exists between Basham, Ringe y Correa and Panamericana, together with the relationship between the Basham Foundation and BJGS, it was necessary to join efforts to reach a greater number of people who can benefit in their respective fields .

In addition, Basham's partners are looking for an increase in the training of the firm's collaborators, as well as a greater professional projection of the interns of the BJGS of Panamericana.

During the signing of the agreement, the relationship that has existed over the years between the School of Law and Basham, Ringe y Correa was discussed. They also discussed how the Basham Foundation came about and how its objectives match those of the BJGS.

Support in areas where the other party is not able to provide its services was also considered. "For sometime we had been thinking about a pro bono project of greater scope, what better than with the BJGS of Panamericana, where we can in turn show the members of the firm what we do within a law firm like Basham," stated the partners of Basham.

They also stated: "The combined efforts of both institutions bring great social value to our country. This project motivates our lawyers to carry out pro bono activities on their own initiative.
