ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; December 13, 2020.- The seventh edition of the strategic social project "UP under the tree" of the Department of Social Commitment, was carried out thanks to the willingness of teachers and administrative staff of the Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara, who did their bit to support this cause.

On this occasion, we were able to support a total of 48 parents belonging to the operations personnel of the University Community, giving a gift for Christmas to 77 children. This was possible thanks to 70 sponsors who participated in this project with the objective of bringing a moment of magic and joy to the little ones.
Since the "UP under the tree" initiative began in 2016, a total of 438 parents belonging to the University Community operations staff have been supported; 724 sponsored children have been given a gift; and 570 sponsors have collaborated.
Cecilia Corrales Vega, Coordinator of International Affairs, shared that "I am delighted that UP Social Commitment takes the time to organize this type of initiative where we as university employees can contribute to make a child happy at Christmas".
UP under the tree seeks to share with others the blessings we have received, as well as the magic and gratitude in children who receive a gift on a day like Christmas. All this remembering that you can share the joy of discovering your gift under the tree.
