Mexico City, September 17, 2024. Universidad Panamericana experienced a summer full of international activity, consolidating its global focus through its Summer School program. Summer School.

With a strong participation of students and professors from different parts of the world, the three campuses, Aguascalientes, Guadalajara and Mexico City, became centers of cultural and academic exchange, offering an enriching experience for both local students and those coming from abroad.
Participation of international students and professors
During the summer of 2024, Panamericana welcomed 76 international professors, who contributed to the education of 1,358 students. Collaborations with countries such as Colombia, Spain, the United States, India and Italy, among others, allowed our campuses to breathe a multicultural air, where educational experiences and methodologies from different parts of the world converge.
"It's very important for my career as a teacher to have an international perspective, but I also think it's very important for students to meet international teachers who have a different pedagogy in the classroom," said Kevin Mac Gabhann, professor at the EM Strasbourg Business School.

Numbers per campus
The Aguascalientes campus had the participation of 20 professors who guided 290 students in different educational programs. Of these teachers, 18 were face-to-face and two participated online, combining classes in English and Spanish, which allowed students to improve their skills in both languages.
Campus Guadalajara witnessed significant academic and cultural activity, hosting 34 professors who participated in face-to-face and online classes, facilitating a total of 539 student participations. With a mix of 18 face-to-face and 16 online classes, the focus on internationalization was evident, as 15 of the courses were taught in English and 20 in Spanish.

The campus also stood out for its ability to attract international students for Spanish courses, as a group of 13 students from various institutions in Florida, United States, participated in these programs, improving their language skills and immersing themselves in Mexican culture.
Campus Mexico City was not far behind in terms of international participation. With 22 professors and 529 students, this campus offered a wide variety of courses, with 14 in hybrid format and 8 face-to-face, while 20 of them were taught in English.

The campus also welcomed six students from the University of Notre Dame in the United States. Notre Dame, United Stateswho enrolled in Spanish courses. This exchange strengthened relations between the two institutions and allowed the students to experience Mexican life and culture firsthand.
Epicenter of learning and personal development
Kathy Zolton, professor at the University of Texas at Dallas, highlighted the friendliness and sense of cooperation that Pan American students have. "I feel a great sense of family among the students. One of my favorite things, and one that I had to get used to, was the constant chatter in the classroom, where they help each other (...) while they are competitive, they are also very cooperative," commented the professor.

The Summer School at Universidad Panamericana featured a combination of students and teachers from different countries, intercultural collaboration and short international programs, which turned the three campuses into an epicenter of learning and personal development.
In an increasingly interconnected world, Universidad Panamericana continues to focus on strengthening international networks, offering its students a comprehensive education that goes beyond the classroom, preparing them to face the challenges of a global environment.
