Zapopan, Jalisco; March 6, 2024.- The General Vice Rector's Office for Research, together with the Directorate of the Library System of the University of Jalisco, presented SCRIPTA+, the evolution of the Institutional Repository, which now merges with an updated research information system (CRIS). This launch marks a milestone in the management and promotion of research at Panamericana.

At the inaugural event that took place on each campus, the research directors: Dr. Claudia Ortega (Mexico City campus), Dr. Pedro Rodrigo (Aguascalientes campus) and Dr. Sergio Velázquez (Guadalajara campus), highlighted the vision of the Institutional Research Council as a system that exceeds the capabilities of the previous Institutional Repository. SCRIPTAThe adoption of a CRIS system is a significant advance for the administration and dissemination of research.

Abraham Mendoza, Vice Rector General for Research, explained that SCRIPTA+ will become a fundamental tool for collecting and disseminating information on the university's research activities. This system will not only increase the visibility and impact of research, but will also optimize strategic decision-making, the development of academic programs, fundraising and the launching of innovative projects.

Eduardo Díaz and Leónides Téllez, in charge of SCRIPTA+demonstrated the capabilities of the platform, highlighting its potential to revolutionize the way we manage and share scientific knowledge.

In closing, Abraham Mendoza gave special thanks to the Directorate of the Library System, headed by Manuel Bernal and Jorge Peña, and to the Libraries of the three campuses, including Erik Ortiz, Marilú Ochoa, Isabel de la Rosa and David Torres (Guadalajara campus), Humberto Pacheco, Alex Huizar (Aguascalientes campus), Omar Jiménez, Edgar Reyes, Carmen García (Mexico City campus), for their commitment and work in the realization of this significant project.
