About the UP-AWS alliance
The Panamericana - Amazon Web Services call was launched in September 2023 with the objective of promoting research and the generation of projects within the institution. The call was open to full-time researchers attached to Panamericana who wish to submit scientific research proposals in any area.
AWS is the most adopted and complete cloud platform in the world, offering more than 200 comprehensive data center services globally to reduce costs, increase agility and innovate faster. Panamericana signed a social impact agreement with AWS in 2022, where they jointly committed to spread knowledge about the cloud and its services throughout the university community to build a better society.
This achievement is a key part of the efforts generated by the General Vice-Rectory for Research of our university, whose strategic pillar is to attract and obtain external funds.
