Mexico City, December 4, 2023.— On November 29, the Universidad Panamericana announced three of its researchers as winners of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) research awards, projects that will receive funding totaling $50,000 USD.

About the UP-AWS Alliance
The Panamericana–Amazon Web Services Call for Proposals was launched in September 2023 with the goal of promoting research and the development of projects within the institution. The call was open to full-time researchers affiliated with Panamericana who wished to submit scientific research proposals in any field.
AWS is the world’s most widely adopted and comprehensive cloud platform, offering more than 200 end-to-end services across global data centers to help you reduce costs, increase agility, and innovate faster. La Panamericana signed a social impact agreement with AWS in 2022, in which they jointly committed to spreading knowledge about the cloud and its services throughout the university community to build a better society.
This achievement is a key part of the efforts led by our university’s Office of the Vice President for Research, whose strategic focus is on attracting and securing external funding.
