Mexico City, December 1, 2025.—The Universidad Panamericana been selected by the Fundación del Empresariado Mexicano(FUNDEMEX) as its strategic partner in a research project aimed at identifying, documenting, and analyzing five success stories of social projects with business support in Mexico.
The main objective of the initiative is to strengthen FUNDEMEX’s philanthropic model and position it as a leading authority in the field of social development.

A collaborative model with real impact
FUNDEMEX, the social arm of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), is dedicated to coordinating efforts between the private sector and civil society to promote sustainable development, with a particular focus on boosting employment and labor inclusion in vulnerable communities.
Following a competitive selection process that included the submission of a technical proposal, three sessions before a specialized committee, and a demonstration of the institutional strength and expertise of its researchers, the Universidad Panamericana selected for its academic excellence and humanistic approach.

Systematization of best practices with a scientific and human-centered approach
According to the project leaders, the core value of this research lies in systematizing a company’s best practices in business mentoring from a scientific, social, and humanistic perspective. This will make it possible not only to document experiences but also to draw meaningful lessons that can be replicated in other contexts.
One of the main methodological challenges the research team will face is data collection and generation, since many of the participating companies do not formally document their processes.
Nevertheless, a mixed-methods approach (qualitative and quantitative) will be used, including interviews, surveys, and field visits to measure the projects’ impact on employment, productivity, and inclusion.

Practical findings and a lasting legacy
One of the project’s core commitments is to ensure that the findings are practical and applicable. The mixed-methodology approach will ensure that the best practices identified can be applied to other business cases.
Beyond the submission of a research report, the legacy we hope to leave behind includes a set of clear and accessible guidelines that other companies—and FUNDEMEX itself—can follow to pave the way toward sustainability and success in their social initiatives.
