Mexico City, December 10, 2025.— The Universidad Panamericana its international presence by joining as a partner institution in an ambitious global consortium of the Erasmus+program, coordinated by the International Business School (IBS) in Sofia, Bulgaria, and funded by the European Union.
The project, with reference number 2025-1-BG01-KA171-HED-000339139, will run for three years, from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2028.
An international network for academic cooperation
This program, part ofKey Action 1—International Credit Mobility—brings together31 higher education institutions from 24 countries, creating a diverse and dynamic academic network committed to excellence, internationalization, and global cooperation.
The Universidad Panamericana Mexico alongside institutions from Latin American countries such as Colombia and Chile, and collaborates with universities on four continents:
- Europe and the Balkans:Bulgaria, Montenegro, Albania.
- Caucasus and Central Asia:Georgia, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan.
- Southern Mediterranean and Africa:Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia, Cape Verde, Rwanda.
- Asia:Nepal, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Maldives, Malaysia.
International mobility opportunities
The consortium's main objectives are to expand opportunities, promote inclusive access to international mobility, strengthen research cooperation, and build sustainable educational bridges between regions.
For the Universidad Panamericana community, this meansscholarships funded by the European Union:
- For students:five-monthstudy abroad programs at the International Business School in Sofia.
- For teachers:14-daystays for teaching or training at the same institution.
La Panamericana has been allocatedtwo spots for faculty members and two for students.
