UNIVERSIDAD PANAMERICANA STUDENTS, VOLUNTEERS ON THE SECOND VACCINATION CAMPAIGN

ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; 

 

40 students from the different careers of Panamericana will be helping today and tomorrow at the vaccination modules located at ITESO's facilities. 

In order to collaborate socially and contribute to the common good, student groups, scholarship holders and collaborators of the Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara in conjunction with other educational institutions, joined together to support as volunteers in the second stage of vaccination aimed at the elderly.

On this occasion, a communiqué was received requesting 800 young students from all universities to be part of the volunteering in the second vaccination day, so Panamericana was contacted to express it in the different student groups and scholarship holders, and therefore they could be part of this social activity.

In total there are 40 students from different careers who will be supporting today April 14 and tomorrow April 15, their main functions will be the specialized attention for the filling out of medical forms for each senior citizen, as well as the respective registration activity that has to be carried out for the implementation of the second dose.

The experience was very satisfactory, the truth is that seeing the satisfaction of the older adults when they receive their vaccination and the treatment they are given is a great satisfaction.

We are very grateful to the UP for inviting us to volunteer and support for the good of our seniors and for the good of Mexico," he said.

For her part, Raquel Acosta, Assistant Vice Rector of University Life, commented that she is very proud of the Panamericana students, since volunteering on this occasion involves a lot of effort, patience and important care to avoid putting their health at risk, having as a priority to keep the elderly at ease.

Panamericana is proud of the student groups, scholarship recipients and collaborators who were part of the volunteer program, and thanks them for their enthusiastic participation in promoting the common good and seeking to be agents of change in difficult times.
