ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; October 13, 2022.- In order to promote the importance of breastfeeding and contribute to the training of the University's collaborators, the session "Breastfeeding and Postpartum" was given by Wendy Belén Martínez Buenrostro, certified in Breastfeeding, and Dr. Cristina Angélica León Romo from the Department of University Health.
The purpose of the session was to expose the basic knowledge of breastfeeding and newborn care, as well as the process of maternity disability.
During the presentation, Ms. Martínez Buenrostro defined the stages of breastfeeding, along with the benefits, considerations and techniques of breastfeeding. In addition, Dr. Leon spoke about the maternity disability benefit.
The closing of the session consisted of a series of questions and answers from the audience.
