Mexico City, February 9, 2023.- In such a chaotic world and at the expense of the various day-to-day difficulties, empathy and accompaniment play a fundamental role. As advisors of Universidad Panamericana, it is important to be aware of the risk situations faced by students, as these have a direct impact on their personal and academic well-being. For this reason, the Advisory team of Smart Center campus Mexico launched the Special Cases training.
Stronger Together
This will be carried out jointly in the three campuses that make up the Panamericana, with the intention of helping counselors to recognize such parameters, regardless of their nature (academic, emotional, family or health), to give an optimal response and know how to address such circumstances.
Tools for consultants
Although currently a counselor does not have the power to solve all the problems that the student suffers, by taking this training he/she will be able to support and guide him/her, inside and outside the university, with the experts that will allow him/her to move forward. This from an empathetic vision, where the student feels safe and valued.
In the last two years, almost 150 mentors have taken on the task of learning and training in university counseling through the Moodle platform. This represents one third of the total number of advisors on the Mexico campus.
Advisory de campus México, is committed to continue training efforts to educate all the actors of university counseling and to be a support and accompaniment for students. In this way, we promote the optimal development of each of the students who set foot on our campus.
