Mexico City, May 9, 2023.— With the aim of promoting skills and providing tools to students and graduates to help them adapt to the workforce and overcome the challenges currently facing professional employability worldwide, the Career Services department at the Universidad Panamericana, through the UEL—University Employment Lab, is promoting the “Leading Your Professional Career” program.
About UEL—University Employment Lab
Comprising a group of 13 Ibero-American universities with a primarily humanities-based focus, the UEL-University Employment Lab aims to train professionals who will have a positive impact on the transformation of society.
The goal of this association is to forge strategic partnerships to serve as a meeting point for every member of our university community who is looking to take the big step toward advancing to professional roles in the workforce.
“We want to be the leading authority on employability through our professional development program lab, preparing students and professionals to overcome challenges with the confidence that they will secure employment, by equipping them with soft skills and interpersonal skills,” explains Ana Cecilia González, Career Services Coordinator.

The current era has been marked by rapid technological change. As a result, the workplace is undergoing digitization and automation. This situation requires students and graduates to enhance their employability and competitiveness in order to reinvent themselves professionally.
That is why the “Leading Your Professional Career” program offers a series of online workshopsfeaturing insights into the world of work that will provide tools and advice for anyone who is actively looking for a job, wants to advance their career, switch industries, or start their own business.
The lectures offered are:
- “Job Search: Overcoming Challenges and Getting Down to Business.”
- “The First 100 Days on the Job.”
- “The Challenge of Humans vs. Artificial Intelligence and the Automation of Work.”
- “The Return from Maternity Leave and Co-Parenting in the Workplace.”
