ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; July 27, 2022. Universidad Panamericana seeks to have a summer with an educational alternative with an international focus, this initiative consists of generating visibility abroad, as well as internationalization in the field of research and teaching.
This internationalization is made up of different projects, including: a general diagnosis, an approach between professor and researcher, global competencies in the graduate profile, internationalization at home, promoting international research, greater visibility and international prestige, and creating strategic alliances that generate a benefit for students.
A summer full of knowledge
The different Schools and Faculties of Panamericana had the opportunity to travel during the summer to Europe, to acquire different knowledge and skills with an international focus.
From the School of Business Administration, students from the Bachelor's Degree in Administration and Management and Family Business Management attended the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles in Madrid for three weeks.
Postgraduate students from the School of Law attended the International Private Law Week at Universidad San Pablo CEU in Madrid.
On behalf of the School of Communication, the destination was Madrid, where some students, for 11 days, took a Sports Journalism Course at Villanueva University.
The Escuela Superior de Administración de Instituciones (ESDAI) and Dirección de Negocios Gastronómicos (DNG) were not left behind, as their Postgraduate students attended the Escuela Internacional de Protocolo in Madrid (EIP) to conclude the double degree in Event Management and Institutional Protocol. Likewise, students from both degrees participated for 15 days in the Culinary Arts Course at the Sant Pol de Mar Hotel-School in Barcelona.
These are just some of the trips, both academic and extra-academic, that Panamericana's Schools and Faculties organize every year to broaden the international panorama and the integral formation of their students. In the meantime, the campus was hosting the Summer UPthe academic summer with professors from different parts of the world, was taking place on campus.
