Mexico City, June 21, 2023.- Advisory Campus Mexico, from SMART Center of the Universidad Panamericana, launches the training of Sensitive Cases for Advising, a course aimed at all advisors of the university community, with the objective of recognizing the problems that affect students in order to provide optimal responses.

Important transitions

The transition to college life can be exciting and challenging for many students. In this new and dynamic academic environment, the role of the advisor becomes critical. In a world full of chaos, multiple difficulties and constant change, the task of accompanying them on their college journey involves both recognizing risky situations that students face.

Therefore, understanding and sharing the feelings and experiences of others is the key to providing effective support to those around us, in a safe and confidential space where students feel supported and understood, promoting their personal and academic well-being.

Sensitive Cases for Consulting

While it is true that counselors do not have the capacity to solve all student problems, by participating in this training, they acquire the necessary skills to support and guide students .

Over the past two and a half years, more than half of the advisors at the Panamericana, Mexico City campus have been committed to identifying the different scenarios and helping students receive help from the relevant experts.

Advisory Mexico invites all advisors to take this opportunity, which is also part of the training courses that make up the SMART Advisor Diploma with curricular value at the Mexico City campus. Together we will help as many students as possible.
