Mexico City, May 22, 2024.- Within the framework of the XVII Latin American Meeting of Socially Responsible Businesses (ESR) (ESR) organized by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI) on May 21, 2024, the three campuses of the Universidad Panamericana (Aguascalientes, Mexico City and Guadalajara) received the statuettes that once again recognize them as Socially Responsible Companies.
Socially Responsible Company
Being a socially responsible company means that the company is committed to behaving ethically and contributing to economic development, while improving the quality of life of its employees and their families, as well as the local community and society in general.
This can involve a variety of practices, such as implementing equal opportunity policies, participating in community programs, maintaining fair business practices, caring for the environment, and more.
La Panamericana: a benchmark in higher education
This recognition was given to more than one thousand large companies, of which only 12 are higher education institutions, which positions Panamericana as a benchmark for corporate social responsibility among the country's universities.
