UP Guadalajara signs agreement with IPEJAL to promote financial education 

Zapopan, Jalisco; November 11, 2025.— Universidad Panamericana . signed an agreement with the Jalisco State Pension Institute (IPEJAL), led by Juan Partida Morales, one of the most financially sound investment agencies in western Mexico. 

This partnership aims to strengthen the ties between academia and the public sector, offering students in the Business Administration and Financethe opportunity for hands-on learning and participation in projects that have a real impact on society.

Comprehensive Training and Collaborative Solutions

Dr. Abraham Mendoza, dean of the Guadalajara campus, emphasized that this agreement represents an opportunity to collaborate so that students can develop their professional skills through partnerships with the public sector, enriching their education and encouraging them to make meaningful contributions to society.

“The goal is to build closer ties and learn, because we’re very eager to hear about the challenges IPEJAL faces, learn from them, and—to the best of our ability—work together to find solutions,”, he said.

Among those in attendance at the signing of the agreement was Luis Alberto Güémez, M.A., coordinator of strategic projects, who accompanied Juan Partida Morales. Representing the university were Dr. Carlos López, vice rector of the Guadalajara campus, and Dr. Francisco López Torres, dean of the School of Business.

The collaboration will focus on designing sustainable financial strategies that contribute to the agency's efficiency and modernization, ensuring the long-term viability of pensions.

In this way, the School of Business and Management ( Universidad Panamericana ) reaffirms its commitment to training ethical, competent, and socially responsible professionals who are capable of developing solutions grounded in human values and a public vision.

The director of IPEJAL, for his part, expressed his admiration and respect for the rector’s professional and academic career. He highlighted the university’s dedication and professionalism in preparing its students, especially in business programs, and its constant search for new ways to inspire students, who, according to him, graduate “extremely well-prepared, with a great deal of curiosity, and with a great deal of humility.”
