UP demonstrates its excellence in dance at the World School Championship

Aguascalientes, Ags., March 7, 2025. The Panamericana representative team competed against teams from countries such as Japan, China, the United States and Puerto Rico, competing in the categories of poms, jazz and hip hop. Thanks to their talent, discipline and effort, the students positioned Mexico and Universidad Panamericana at the highest international level.

The road to international competition

Throughout 2024, the Panamericana students prepared intensively, participating in regional and national competitions to perfect their choreography and strengthen their performance.

The highlight of this process was in December 2024, when they participated in the ONP competition, one of the most important dance and cheerleading competitions organized by the National Cheerleading Organization in Mexico City. in Mexico City, where the Panamericana representative obtained three first places at the national level.

This achievement not only reaffirmed their talent and discipline, but also consolidated the Universidad Panamericana as one of the most outstanding institutions in the field of dance in Mexico, preparing the team to represent the country in the prestigious World School Championship.

With daily practice sessions and a rigorous balance of studying and dancing, the team members doubled their effort to arrive in top condition for the competition in Orlando.

The team that took Panamericana to the highest international level

The selection of poms y jazz is trained by the coaches Adalya Puente y Pedro Arredondo and integrated by the students Sofia Poblete, Sara Ruíz, Alejandra Esparza, Lucero Hermoso, Julieta Kú, Fátima Reyes, Vercia Lozano, Camila Gutierrez y Nadia Mendoza.

While the selection of hip hop is prepared by coach Gary Ochoa and integrated by Valeria de la Cruz, Katia Fragozo, María Dolores Figueroa, Ana Sofia Bermudez, Andrea Cobourne, Edna Návar, Clara Perdomo y Regina Gomez.

"For me Orlando was to arrive and stand up in the competition with my team to do everything we had worked so hard and recognize it.
