ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; November 16, 2022.- The young graduate of the career of Communication and Journalism from Universidad Panamericana campus Guadalajara, Yair Rangel traveled to cover the Qatar 2022 World Cup on November 13 and will be there for seven weeks.

Yair, who was recently a reporter on the Survivor and Exatlón TV shows, always wanted to work on an international event of that magnitude, stating that "I tried for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, but COVID came along and it didn'thappen."

Subsequently, he subscribed to a FIFA portal FIFA portal where he was notified when people were needed for an event, and it was on April 30, 2021 when he received an email telling him that the call for the Arab Cup of Nations was open.

"I uploaded all the documents that were necessary, I went through the filters and finally I was able to be part of the Arab Cup of Nations in the Media Operations of the Education City Stadium," he said.

For Yair, covering a World Cup was a dream he had since he was a child. " For a journalist, the greatest thing that can exist is to cover a World Cup", a phrase shared with him by Carlos Guerrero, better known as the "Warrior", while he was in Survivor. while he was on Survivor.

"Going there is an achievement and it's fulfilling a dream I've had since I was a kid, but it's also an extra motivation for what's to come because sometimes you achieve your goals and then you get stuck. Even though I have already reached my first World Cup at the age of 24, I am going to go for the second, third, women's World Cups, lower World Cups".
