Zapopan, Jalisco; October 25, 2023.- The Diocesan Commission for the Integral Formation of the Presbyterate in conjunction with the Institute of Humanities of the Universidad Panamericana Guadalajara Campus offered the program "Human Flourishing for Priests", which consists of different sessions with prestigious exponents of the University, who shared, mainly, different resources to heal emotional wounds.
The objective of this course is for the participant to identify the emotional wounds that have been present throughout his life, in order to heal them and recover his sense of life. In this way, the priest will be able to develop his vocation with greater fullness and joy.
This course was held from Monday, October 16 to Friday, October 20, 2023, in classroom and online mode. The speakers at this event were Ms. Sara Martínez Basurto, with extensive experience in the delivery of workshops and therapeutic accompaniment to Religious and Priests; and Mr. Joaquín Pardavé Langle, speaker and lecturer on Talent, Human Development and Business.
In his inaugural speech, José Roberto Rojas Tapia, Director of the Institute of Humanities, Guadalajara campus, said: "The universidad panamericana is an institution with a Christian vision that has been created under the impulse of the thought of St. José María Escrivá, who repeatedly mentioned that the church must be served as the church wants to be served".
Among those attending the course were priests from different dioceses of the country, who expressed their satisfaction and gratitude for this opportunity for personal and spiritual growth.

The course was described as an enriching and transforming experience that contributes to the integral wellbeing of priests and to the strengthening of the Church's evangelizing mission.
