ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; January 27, 2023.- The Universidad Panamericana through its Law School Campus Guadalajara, the Department of Telecommunications Law of the Universidad Externado de Colombia and DPL Group, welcomed the future of politics and the digital revolution, with the organization of the 1st Ibero-American Congress on Digital Law, where renowned specialists participated.

Digital Law

The digital matter, since it was born, does not stop in its evolution, which is why it is of great importance and interest the digital progress in issues such as public policy and regulation. The general theme of the congress was how the digital universe is being regulated by a complex system of human rights, consumer protection, intellectual property, telecommunications law, computer law, Artificial Intelligence regulation, fintech regulation, data governance, labor regulation, digital rights, personal data protection and even geopolitics.

Exhibited topics

Of the 21 panels that were exposed some of the topics were: The new digital constitutionalism, the challenges of economic competition in the face of a digital society, law, digital technology and interdisciplinarity (in search of an epistemology), law and digital technology, the birth of a legal subject, among many others. Exposed by 40 different speakers connected around the world as Sandra Milena Urrutia Pérez, Mercedes Aramendía, Artur Coimbra, Pablo García Mexía, Andrés Barreto, Alfredo Deluque Zuleta, Javier Juárez Mojica, Jorge Fernando Negrete, to name a few.
