ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; October 06, 2022.- Andrés Villalever García de Quevedo is an outstanding graduate of the Universidad Panamericana campus Guadalajara, for the career of Administration and Marketingfrom the 1998-2002 graduating class. He currently resides in the city of Miami, United States.
Present in the world's largest shipping company
Today he is corporate director of Carnival Cruise Lines, the world's largest shipping company. His work ranges from filtering the product, place, price and promotion of different commercial products ranging from fine jewelry to souvenirs.
One of the most complex challenges that Andres faced, as did many, was the pandemic, as he had to make the tough decision to lay off or freeze (work) most of his employees, due to the fact that there was a lull in the industry.
Comprehensive training
One of Andres' thoughts that he offers to the university community as advice is to "worry more about which university to choose than about the career", that is to say, to do what we are passionate about, since the integral formation must come first and then the basic academic, social, spiritual and sports formation that the University offers us.
Administration and Marketing is a very broad career in which you can explore different fields of it, such as marketing, strategy, sales, pure marketing, market research, advertising, etc...
