Zapopan, Jalisco; November 7, 2024.— The Universidad Panamericana celebrates a significant milestone in its mission to promote academic excellence and high-level research . Four of its faculty members have earned their doctoral degrees, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to the ongoing training and professional development of its staff. Drs. María Cisneros Plazola, Irene Reyes Bísquez, Violeta Corona Cabrera, and Alejandra Núñez Acosta—in addition to being outstanding educators—are now embarking on promising careers in the field of research.
Dr. María Cisneros Plazola
Dr. Cisneros earned her Ph.D. in Behavioral Science with a specialization in Behavior Analysis, focusing on the scientific study of human and animal behavior. His academic career has been marked by collaboration with leading researchers, which has allowed him to refine his knowledge in a highly demanding academic environment.
““My greatest satisfaction has been meeting people who are passionate about science and discovering new opportunities for professional growth,”, said Dr. Cisneros. Dr. Irene Reyes Bísquez
Dr. Reyes, a specialist in Human Resources Management, has developed strategic tools for the effectively manage talent within organizations, fostering leadership and innovation. With a solid background in Business Administration and Human Resources, she now applies her expertise to drive change in organizational management.
“The knowledge I’ve gained and the personal lessons I’ve learned are invaluable to my professional and personal life,” said Dr. Reyes. Her advice to the university community is “pursue your dreams; anything is possible with perseverance”.
Dr. Violeta Corona Cabrera
Dr. Corona, a graduate of the Doctor of Business Administration program at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, focuses her research on multisensory consumer perception in the beverage industry in Mexico. His thesis was awarded the distinction of Summa Cum Laude and nominated for a special award, reflecting her hard work and dedication.
“My greatest satisfaction has been proving to myself that I’m capable of teaching myself,”, said the researcher. She recommends to future researchers “choose a line of research that they’re truly passionate about” and to seek out collaborative networks.
Dr. Alejandra Núñez Acosta
Dr. Núñez, who holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from thePan-American University, Guadalajara Campus, focused her dissertation “Study of Factors that Affect the Performance of Researchers in Mexican Private Universities” on the factors that influence the design of research policies at Mexican private universities. Her work has been recognized at international conferences, which reinforces her commitment to academia and research.
“This doctoral program has allowed me to grow in terms of knowledge, research, and analysis,”, said Dr. Núñez. She encourages the university community to pursue their goals, noting that “although the path is challenging, the rewards are abundant”.
