Zapopan, Jalisco, February 29, 2024. - The Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara held a recognition ceremony for graduate students who have been awarded scholarships in technological areas through a government program that seeks to promote competitiveness nationally and internationally.

A dream fulfilled

The Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara signed an agreement with the Secretariat of the State of Jalisco with the objective of being part of a scholarship program for up to $100,000, which was granted by the Secretariat of Innovation, Science and Technology (SICYT). Currently, Panamericana is one of the 5 universities within the program and has 20 students, who began their postgraduate studies on February 2nd. The areas in which they specialize are technology, innovation, manufacturing and electromechanics.

"I've been thinking about my master's degree for a while now, so much so that it started to become more of a concern that accompanied me at night. With doubts such as, should I study it now? What if I'm taking too long and then I don't want to study again? What master's degree would I choose? Should it be something I'm passionate about or something that will help me in my current job? Would I study it in Mexico or abroad? And one of the doubts that overwhelmed me the most was, "How am I going to pay for it? This scholarship was the trigger to silence all my doubts and encourage me to take on this challenge," said Brenda Dennis Rivera Orozco, one of the students who benefited from the scholarship.
