Zapopan, Jalisco, March 4, 2024. - In order to learn more about their projects, the Rector of the University of Jalisco, Dr. José Antonio Esquivias Romero, held a meeting with the Universidad PanamericanaDr. José Antonio Esquivias Romero, held a meeting with the Alumni of the University. Alumni finalists of the Coparmex Entrepreneur Award 2023where he congratulated them for their trajectory and achievements.
Coparmex Entrepreneur Award
The finalists who attended the meeting were:
- Denisse Reynoso Barragán, Alumni of the Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering and Business Innovation. Winner of the Coparmex 2023 Entrepreneur Award and founder of Gardenia Naturals, a natural and sustainable cosmetics company, who was selected as one of the 15 most influential women in Guadalajara. She also won the award for the best formulated by the Society of Cosmetology Chemists of Mexico.
- Fernando Méndez García, Alumni of the Bachelor's Degree in Administration and Finance. CEO of Juicy Folks, a natural and healthy juice company, which was a finalist in the 8th generation of the business acceleration program Reto Zapopan.
- Salvador González López, Alumni of the Bachelor's Degree in Administration and Management. CEO and founder of Nación Tequila, a company that produces and markets artisanal tequila, finalist of the Coparmex Entrepreneur Award 2023 and vice president of the Coparmex Business Center of Tepatitlán.
- Lorena Martínez León, Law Alumni. Founder of Nuvola, a company focused on creating sufficient spaces where women can freely breastfeed, which was selected among the 30 promising companies of Mexico 2023 by Forbes and won the socially based project by the Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico 2023 Foundation.
- Denisse Llanes Suárez, Alumni of the Bachelor's Degree in Administration and International Business. Founder of Nuvola, along with Lorena Martínez León, who was also a finalist for the Coparmex 2023 Entrepreneur Award and winner of the socially based project for the Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico 2023 Foundation.
During the event, the rector expressed his admiration and pride for being part of the UP community, and reiterated his support and willingness to collaborate with them in their initiatives. He also invited them to continue being an example for the new generations of students and to maintain the entrepreneurial spirit that characterizes UP.
"The path of entrepreneurship is not always a straight line, in fact it is full of challenges, but values such as perseverance, discipline and your dreams will help you focus and thus end up achieving your goals, shared Denisse Reynoso Barragan, winner of the Coparmex Entrepreneur Award 2023.
The Coparmex Entrepreneur Award is an annual recognition given to the best entrepreneurial projects in Mexico, with the aim of promoting the country's economic and social development.
