Mexico City, March 8, 2024.- With the objective of continuing to support women affected by situations of violence, the Social Free Legal Aid Office (BJGS) of the (BJGS) of the Universidad Panamericana presented the results of the collaboration agreement with Mitsubishi Motors de México. According to the most recent information, the agreement has directly benefited 503 people, of which 360 are women and 143 are men. On average, 2,373 beneficiaries (direct and indirect) have been positively impacted by the joint efforts of BJGS and Mitsubishi.

The initial agreement, signed in October 2022, provided free and comprehensive assistance to women, addressing various legal issues such as divorce, alimony, custody, sexual violence, alimony, theft, fraud and kidnapping, among other cases. However, the extension, signed in March 2023, was addressed to any person suffering from violence.

In order to raise awareness about gender-based violence, two workshops were also held to address the issue from psychological perspectives and provide tools to prevent it.

Positive impact

The alliance between BJGS and Mitsubishi Motors de México resulted in positive changes for families and communities in Mexico City. The focus was on transforming society under the principles of respect, professional ethics, quality, trust and gratuity that characterize the firm.
