“The UP will always be your home”

Zapopan, Jalisco; May 11, 2023.— Last Thursday, May 4, a special event was held for the more than 350 students who are about to graduate and become new alumni of the Universidad Panamericana.
Welcome, Alumni
The Alumni Welcome was led by Dr. José Antonio Esquivias, Campus Rector, and Mariana Belén García Avelar, Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs, who encouraged attendees to stay in touch and remain connected with their alma mater by taking advantage of the benefits and services the university offers its graduates, citing examples such as job boards, courses, workshops, events, networking opportunities, chapters, clubs, and social events.
Wherever there is an alumnus, there is UP
He reminded them that the Universidad Panamericana has more than 15,000 alumni from this campus, and that each graduate’s actions have an impact on society. “Wherever there is an alumnus, there is UP,” said Mariana Belén , emphasizing that their connection to the Panamericana does not end here, and that the alumni community is so extensive that they can stay connected no matter where they are.
Finally, he emphasized that the alumni are the driving force behind the Universidad Panamericana everywhere they go and that our University’s reputation rests largely on them, encouraging them to be ambassadors of the values and academic excellence that define it, so that we may continue to build a great institution.
Future Alumni
In closing, the campus rector, Dr. José Antonio Esquivias, addressed the graduating students, congratulating them on their hard work and dedication throughout their studies and encouraging them to continue growing as professionals and as individuals. He also emphasized that the university will always be their home and that they have the support of an institution committed to academic and human excellence.
The event concluded with a toast to celebrate this new chapter, leaving the attendees with a sense of joy and nostalgia.
