Mexico City, November 24, 2022.— The High Potential Development Center (HIPODEC) at the Universidad Panamericanaheld a graduation ceremony for 20 new leaders from the fourth cohort of the Certificate Program in the Development of Successful and Sustainable Security Companies, bringing the total number of graduates from the program — created by Security Groups United for a Stable Mexico (ASUME) in partnership with our university.
The event was attended by Roberto Carlos Álvarez López, director of HIPODEC; Gibrán Ocaña, Key Account Manager at HIPODEC; Armando Zuñiga Salinas, president of ASUME; and Herschel Schultz, CEO of ASUME.
In addition, guests on the presidium included Mr. Héctor Larios Santillán, former president of the CCE and COPARMEX NACIONAL, member of the CCE’s security commission and the BETA committee, and Congresswoman Juanita Guerra Mena, chair of the Public Safety Committee of the 65th session of the Honorable Congress of the Union.
About the Certificate Program
The Certificate Program in Developing Successful and Sustainable Security Companies was designed to train leaders who are committed to the professionalization and comprehensive development of the private security industry, thereby ensuring the trust of the users of these services.
The goal is to promote the competitiveness of private security companies through a process of continuous improvement—both at the individual and organizational levels.
The sessions are taught by experts from the Universidad Panamericana, who, drawing on their experience in the business and academic worlds, present students with highly relevant topics to foster valuable learning that they can apply to their daily work, such as:
- Business Model Design and Innovation.
- Sound financial structure.
- The market and its relationship with customers.
- Corporate Sustainability.
- Organizational Effectiveness, Leadership, and Their Processes.
