ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; August 9, 2023.- With the aim of promoting coexistence among graduates, as well as to learn more about the world of wine and its pairing, in 2020 the Wine Club is born, organized by the Alumni Department of the Universidad Panamericana Guadalajara and Mtro. Mario Hemuda Jorge, who is a graduate of the Bachelor of Industrial Engineering, professor at the University, Master of Wine and CEO of the company "Uva & Cork".
Wine Club
To celebrate its first three years, a group of wine and culture enthusiasts, as well as representatives of the Department, celebrated last Friday with a special meeting attended by 35 members.
The club regularly invites prominent personalities to give academic or cultural talks to its members and normally meets on the third Friday of each month, although it may vary depending on the availability of the guests and the members themselves. The club currently has 50 members, but expects to continue growing and adding new wine enthusiasts.
The Universidad Panamericana welcomes the development of these spaces in which graduates can live, learn and return to their Alma Mater.
