ESDAI holds annual Belle Nuit Gala event

Mexico City, January 26, 2023.- On November 25th, the ESDAI School of Hospitality ESDAI School of Hospitality of the Universidad Panamericanacampus Mexico, celebrated the Belle Nuit Galathe annual event of the school, totally organized and operated by students of the 5th and 6th semesters of the career in Administration and HospitalityThe purpose of the event was to report on ESDAI's achievements during the year.

The event was attended by Cecilia Canal Garrido, Vice Rector of Universidad Panamericana campus Mexico; Amelia García Casas, Director of the ESDAI School of Hospitality; Frances Jammal Dobles, Director of the Bachelor's Degree in Administration and Hospitality; and Daniela Muñoz Reynoso, Academic Secretary of the School of Hospitality.

Annabelle Ramos, a professional with more than 46 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, and Laura Urbina, project coordinator at Alacarta, also participated as synod members. Alacartaas well as Poncho Hernández, executive chef at Sal de Nayar.

Putting into practice what has been learned

Each year, as part of the High Scale Food Production course, taught by Maricarmen Hinojosa Quirós, head of the Gastronomy Academy at ESDAI, the students design, organize and operate this event in its entirety. Thanks to this valuable experience, the students have the opportunity to put into practice all the skills and knowledge acquired during their academic training.

During the dinner, Chef Poncho Hernandez addressed the students with words of congratulations and gratitude, in which he highlighted the importance of hospitality service in our country and recognized the fundamental role played by ESDAI students in improving quality: "You are going to increase the quality of hospitality service in our country, thank you very much for this experience," he said.

This event would not have been possible without the support of Despacho Gastronómico, US Beef, Zwan, Caperucita and Black Barrel, who served as sponsors of this dinner. Thanks to their generous contributions of ingredients and products, our students were able to offer the highest quality dishes to the guests.
