Aguascalientes, Ags., May 29, 2024.- The School of Economics and Business Administration of our Pan-American University Panamericana campus Aguascalientes has signed a double degree agreement with ESIC Universityone of the most important institutions in marketing and business in Spain.
Adding international agreements
Jorge Enrique Pérez Mar, dean of the School of Business Administration of our Aguascalientes campus visited ESIC University, where a new mobility agreement was established, which will benefit our Panamericana at an intercampus level.
As an international reference in marketing and business, ESIC University has a wide range of educational offerings, but its most distinguished programs are the Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and the Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, as well as one of the most recognized MBA's in Europe.
"Spain has strongly distinguished itself in the area of marketing and communication, it is a worldwide leader," said Jorge Enrique Perez.
Thus, in October 2022, together with the International Affairs area, the School of Business Administration signed a mobility exchange agreement for professors and students. At the same time, this event was just the beginning to give rise to the participation of professors in International Summers both in Mexico and Spain and to carry out exchanges with students.
The most recent agreement that has been consolidated is the double degree with the Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, where as of September of this year, three students will begin their stay at ESIC University, including the first student from our Aguascalientes campus to complete this double degree.
"The students will study seven semesters here at Panamericana and two semesters in Spain in order to acquire the degree, they will also have to present a thesis; likewise, when a Spanish student comes to our Panamericana it will be for one year," he emphasizes.
On the other hand, a student from the same university will do an exchange program at the Guadalajara campus and will even have the possibility of doing this double degree in Mexico.
"I think that one of the riches of this visit was to meet with marketing professionals; they are very ingrained in artificial intelligence because they have implemented a marketing platform that we will also be adopting here on campus," he adds.
The double degree in Business Administration and Management is also on the horizon.
