Zapopan, Jalisco; May 27, 2024.- Daniela Yeomans is an outstanding Alumni of the Guadalajara campus. Universidad Panamericana campus Guadalajara, graduate of the Bachelor of Law, generation 2011-2016, who is currently working as a corporate lawyer in the Netherlands .
Currently, Daniela works as a lawyer at BASF (Badische Anilin- und Soda-Fabrik), where she analyzesthe corporate life of the company, including business, contracts, sales strategies, marketing strategies . She holds the position of Sr. Global Legal Counsel for the vegetable seeds division.
Challenges
The main challenge Daniela faced upon arriving in the Netherlands was culture shock and managing her personal schedule. One thing Daniela recognizes, however, is the academic effort that prevails in this country.
"I love that in this country they are very direct, I can say and there is no problem, however, it was very difficult to adapt to saying no.".
The tools and knowledge provided by Universidad Panamericana were fundamental to her academic preparation, giving her confidence in her skills abroad.
Values
The theme of values has been something essential in her life, Panamericana taught her that her work life does not get in the way of her personal life, sharing the following conclusion: "Our director Isabel is a wife, a mother, a lawyer, a director, she has experience in foreign and you say, wow, yes it can."
Passion
Passion is one of the most important aspects that marked Daniela during her time at the University, where professors such as Francisco Lara encouraged her to work in law firms, litigation and corporate law.
Council
For her part, Daniela shared the following reflection to all those who wish to study law: "In law not everything is litigation, the academic area is very beautiful, you have to always go back to read the reasoning. I recommend you to put aside your ego, there are many branches of law where you can find your passion".
