Do you already know the Master in Industrial Property?

Aguascalientes, Ags. February 9, 2023.- The School of Law of our Panamericana stands out for its social commitment, not only with the formation of the best lawyers in the legal technique, but also with a deep ethical sense of the profession, who not only opt for legal justice, but also promote real justice, the only way to social progress. Among the postgraduate academic offerings of the Law School is the Master's Degree in Industrial Property, Copyrights and New Technologies.

"Everything related to fashion law, entertainment law, the metaverse, gpt chat(artificial intelligence), bitcoins, cybercrimes, identity theft, and image rights are topics that we lawyers have to get into and that we have not traditionally dedicated ourselves to, and this master's degree provides the opportunity to specialize in these topics," says Dr. José Manuel Magaña Rufino, director of this master's degree.

What are the advantages of studying this postgraduate course at Panamericana?

"This is the only master's degree that covers these current topics and required by companies and institutions in order to have specialists in the field, it also has official recognition of validity by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP)," he adds.

Master in Industrial Property

The innovation of the Master's Degree in Industrial Property, Copyrights and New Technologies is that it is taught in the blended mode, which allows students to understand the national and international legal reality through innovative subjects.

75% of the classes are given online on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with the advantage that the class is also recorded so that the student can consult it later if needed.

Another advantage of the blended learning system is that students can consult the classes through the Internet at the time that most benefits them and only have to attend once a month, in order to participate in a face-to-face class, with the purpose of applying in practice (through the case resolution method) the knowledge acquired in the online classes, as well as to be able to interact with professors and students and have feedback that benefits them.

"We have renowned professors who are leaders in each of the subjects they teach; they are really going to learn a lot and the students are going to have a very broad field of application of their knowledge," says Dr. José Manuel.

Labor field

Graduates have the opportunity to enter the National Copyright Institute (INDAUTOR), the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), as well as the Judiciary, where there is a particular chamber of the Administrative Justice Court: the Intellectual Property Commission (CPI), specialized in intellectual property issues.

Additionally, there are also firms that to date are few that are specialized in these issues and demand many lawyers; they even have the opportunity to open their own consulting firms on these issues.
